David's recipes: Cheesecake
Crust
1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp black cocoa
1 tbsp normal cocoa
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Mix and press into 9 to 10 inch springform pan
Cook in 350 F oven for 5 minutes
Let cool.
Cheesecake
Preheat oven to 350 F
Soften
2 pounds (4 8-oz packages) cream cheese
at room temperature, then whip with mixer at high speed for 5 minutes.
Add
1 cup sugar
and whip into cream cheese for 2 minutes at high speed.
Mix in at low speed:
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp Grand Marnier
Mix in at low speed:
4 large eggs
one egg at a time; don't overmix.
Pour into springform pan.
Cook for about 50-55 minutes, until toothpick in center comes out clean.
When done, place immediately into fridge.
